WHAT CAN WE ACHIEVE?
Movement back in the direction of republican (small -r-) government in our lifetime, and the separation of Massachusetts - either as a whole or city by city - from these United States.

In the short term, we are willing to put political differences aside to focus on (what can be) a shared goal of leaving the union - starting in Massachusetts, and growing our organization methodically and slowly over years. At some point, we can work to ally with the 2nd Vermont Republic, Vermont's secessionist movement.

Anyone who is interested in pushing secession understands the wisdom of "all politics is local" and shares the common goal of relatively more freedom.

Short of going to jail for tax evasion, you're willing to do whatever it takes - PEACEFULLY - to disintegrate the evil empire that the US has become and starve the military-industrial complex.

We are interested in reviving secession as a present means of redressing political grievances and legitimating secession among the American "elite" and downtrodden, alike. Free your mind.

Want to attend?

Come prepared to discuss / brainstorm: an organizational structure for the group, a formal manifesto / vision and mission, potential strategy, non-profit status, volunteer-drives, etc. I'll have a more formal agenda at the meeting.

And bring your friends - criticism is welcome, since we are going to need to be prepared to deal with A LOT of that.
